ProductCamp Austin

This year’s edition is number eight, but I really don't remember eight, I would have said six. It's time once again for ProductCamp in Austin, Texas, which is being held at the AT&T Conference Center on the University of Texas campus.

Saturday, February 18th from 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

To register (it’s free): http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2741567101

To find out more: http://productcampaustin.org/

So what is it? Whose behind it? Where did it come from? I was thinking about blabbering on and on about the like, but the truth is that it doesn't matter. No more than you need to understand geology to enjoy water skiing at Lake Gunnison, Colorado. Yes, you may have a deeper appreciation of the Gunnison Gorge with some geology background, but let me tell you, Lake Gunnison and the Gorge are fun no matter what you know. This is the way of ProductCamp, regardless of where it is, or who you are, it will be well worth the time you invest in it.

I see three ways you're going to have fun. First, you'll be in Austin, Texas, and I'll be there. Second, you'll be able to participate in some good conversation with some good people. Third, you may have a chance to present topics and issues your interested in. Fourth, you will be able to apply what you learn to yes, your job; but even more exciting, to yourself, as you go about your own self-improvement initiatives this year. Fifth, there is going to be a surprise for folks in attendance that I'm very excited about, even LEGENDARY.

Oh, did I say only three ways, well there you go - everything is more fun in Texas.

If you've never been to a ProductCamp before, come get involved.
If you don't live in Texas, come get involved.
If you came once and haven't been back, come get involved.
If you have been to every one of them, come get involved.

Hope to see you all there.
