ProductCamp Austin is less than a month away
Ryma is very proud to be a platinum sponsor of ProductCamp Austin 8, taking place February 18, 2012 at the University of Texas.
ProductCamps are an amazing way for product managers and product marketers, new and old, to gather for an informal, yet rich discussion arena on topics across the entire spectrum of product management. These regional events have had some very successful events, with new ones popping up in any city that has a decent-sized professional network for product management . I have seen a few decline in recent years, but ProductCamp Austin is on its 8th event and going strong.
The mix is of participants are also quite impressive. It’s not just a group of consultants looking to sell their services, or students looking to learn new things; it also includes a large number of professionals willing to share their experiences and discuss topics in product management – which is what ProductCamp is all about – learning through sharing.
And it’s free! Sponsored by regional hosts (like the AT&T conference this year) and through sponsors like Ryma, Pragmatic Marketing and Proficientz, all members of the vendor community that believe strongly in the product management function.
If you haven’t registered yet and are going to be in the Austin area, sign up here:

We’ll have some interesting topics proposed by our Fellow (@ValWorkman), and members of our Professional Services team (@ByronWorkman and @DerrickWorkman) – please follow them on Twitter! And since ProductCamps are very free form, and discussions are selected at the event, everyone can participate. So I’d highly encourage anyone to suggest a topic to facilitate a discussion, roundtable, or other format of sharing information. Just please leave the 80 slide PowerPoint presentation at home…
