Russell Foy to spearhead new sales and marketing initiatives; extend Ryma’s leadership status for Enterprise Product Management solutions.
Montreal, Quebec – October 18, 2004 – Ryma Technology Solutions Inc., the first company to deliver an Enterprise Product Management (EPM) solution for Product Managers that employs best practices from the Pragmatic Marketing® Framework, announces the appointment of Russell Foy as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
Russell brings more than 18 years experience in the technology industry. He has proven leadership skills, a process orientation and proven track record for exceeding company sales objectives. In his new role with Ryma, Russell will be responsible for spearheading a new sales and marketing initiative for FeaturePlan™ and extending Ryma’s leadership status for enterprise product management applications. He will also play a lead role in partnership and alliance opportunities.
Russell joins Ryma from Invidex Inc., a provider of enterprise software and services to broadcasters around the world as Vice President of Sales. Hired to launch commercial offering, he exceeded company sales objectives by 250% in the first year and sold the first major software and consulting contract six months ahead of schedule. Prior to Invidex, Russell was Vice President of Sales for JCI Entertainment, a provider of video and file transmission services to the Media and Broadcast communities where he put in place, trained and managed a team of inside and outside sales representatives throughout Canada and the US. Russell was also a Senior Account Executive for Alcatel (Newbridge Networks), where he led the eastern Canada direct and indirect sales initiative for new switching product line as well as he previously held a Senior Account Executive position for EDS, where he was top sales representative within his division for two years and second top sales representative for another 2 years.
Russell holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems degree from the DeVry Institute of Technology - Columbus, Ohio.
